If you like what you see and are interested in joining us, we are happy to help you!  Making sure that CAP is a good fit for you and that you are a good fit for us is important to a successful CAP career, so we ask that you attend at least three meetings so you can see our programs, our other members, and we can get to know each other a little.

Please join us at the Thurston County Readiness Center (8303 Kimmie St SW, Tumwater, WA 98512) and email us at southsound@wawg.cap.gov.

Cadets

After your third meeting, you will need to submit a cadet application, here. If approved by the membership committee, you must show two forms of ID and pay $50 of squadron dues before your membership will be official.

Seniors

Seniors will fill out CAPF 12 (Leaving .gov domain). Please bring it to your next meeting. We will provide you with a fingerprint card you need to send in with your application.  Squadron dues for Senior Members are $35.  The fingerprint cards can be filled out by the State Patrol or County Sheriffs.

While you wait...

While you are waiting for your membership to be processed, you can begin reviewing the materials you will be studying.  Cadets can start reading the first chapter of Learn to Lead (Leaving .gov domain). For Senior Members, you can begin reading the text for Level 1 (Leaving .gov domain) training.  Once your membership is processed, all members will access their training through eServices.
